Dear snow lover
There is hardly anything more beautiful than snowflakes falling from the sky and covering the world in a thick white blanket. A snow-covered landscape is a source of great tranquillity, but also the stage for sports experiences that people look forward to all year long. The fantastic ski regions we're introducing below with their superb runs and magnificent deep powder snow make Switzerland the home of winter sports. The mountains here are simply a little higher, the snow a touch deeper and the fun a lot greater. Treat yourself to this winter upgrade.

Jungfrau Region - Mt. First Glider
Flying with a bird of prey can be exhilarating. Especially when an eagle called First Glider takes flight. His four "passengers" float through the mountain landscape and enjoy a panoramic view at high speeds: To begin with, the First Glider is pulled backwards from Schreckfeld towards First at 45 mph. It is on the way back that the eagle really takes off. He and his passengers glide the half-mile-long flight route at up to 55 mph.

St. Moritz - welcome closer to heaven
Diavolezza - located in the Engadin St. Moritz valley - is surrounded by the world famous mountains Piz Palü and Piz Bernina, highest mountain of the Eastern Alps. This, combined with the breath-taking view over the perpetual ice of Pers and Morteratsch glacier, sets Diavolezza apart from other ski resorts. The diversified terrain with its pristine powder snow runs, steep couloirs and faces is the preferred playground for freeriders.

Nature inspires, soothes and revives. Stays close to nature are never far from the next mountain, forest, lake or river. High up in the mountains, where the moon and stars shine more brightly, by a peaceful lake or on the edge of the forest, where foxes and hares bid each other good night: hideaways are hotels in locations that promise guests both pure relaxation, comfort and a unique winter experience.
