Bernese Oberland: the SnowpenAir 2018
The SnowpenAir concert at Kleine Scheidegg has become a true Swiss tradition and in 2018 will be held for the 21st time. At 6,800 feet above sea level, it is the highest open-air concert in the snow and takes place at Kleine Scheidegg amidst the stunning scenery of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. As in the past, Swiss and international music acts are expected to perform at the 2018 concert again. The lineup for April 7th is official and the main act is Amy MacDonald.

50th Engadin Ski Marathon and 11th Half-Marathon

The Engadin Ski Marathon has been held on the second Sunday in March every year since 1969. What began as a minor event for a few active sports fans grown into the biggest cross-country skiing event in Switzerland and is as popular as ever before. That is hardly surprising, for both the 26 miles long stretch from Maloja to S-chanf and the half-marathon route from Maloja to Pontresina pass through some of the most spectacular winter landscapes in the Engadin.
